bystander.
Jordan Camacho and Laquan Chandler, the victims of this
case, are subjected to serve almost 13 years until being considered for parole
says Scott Moynihan the Superior Court Judge.
Moynihan reported that Camacho and Chandler both were on
probation from a previous shooting of 46 year old Nelson Santos Betance in

Bentance, walking outside a store, was shot at four or
five times in the chest and collapsed. He was found dead at the scene.

Authorities. Both Defendants pleaded guilty for manslaughter. On top of that,
Camacho and Chandler were sentenced to a separate four year sentence for drug

Phoenix Arizona passed a law with the votes 33-to-27 to
allow business owners to refuse to service gays and others.
Governor Brewer, a Republican, has no comment of this
legislation, but she vetoed a similar one last year.
All but 3 Republicans backed the bill and the senate
passed it. Similar religios protection is being introduced to other states such
as ohio, Kansas, Mississippi, Idaho, South Dakota, and Arizona is the only one
that has passed so far.
